WHO WE ARE: Backstage Care was founded by Dr. Joel Johnson, a practicing Doctor
of Chiropractic with over 15 years experience. Dr. Johnson is an active member of
the Christian Chiropractors Association and authored A Chiropractor’s Prayer in
1993 as a gift to his profession.
WHAT WE DO: It offers services at no charge to the artists, staff, and backstage crew
for any Christian festival, concert, crusade or event when possible. We assume
no liability for those people who chose to utilize our services, but do maintain
malpractice insurance as required by law.
WHEN WE PROVIDE SERVICES:
We provide these services at no charge on a first request basis, contingent on
scheduling and financial ability. We can provide services before, during, and after
any performance to as many people as needed.
WHERE WE PROVIDE SERVICES:
We provide services backstage in a location that you choose.
We need approximately a 10' by 10' area, but can accommodate almost any area.
WHY WE PROVIDE THIS SERVICE:
Our mission is to improve the health and function of everyone associated with a
Christian Concert, Crusade, Festival or Event by providing chiropractic services.
Our philosophy is that God created our bodies to be self-healing and self-regulating,
as directed by the nervous system. By relieving pressure on nerves that have become
obstructed, God’s creation will work more efficiently. This improved health also
allows improved expression of life just as God intended. Whether performing on stage
or behind the scenes, God wants us to express ourselves creatively through our performance.
It is as simple as the ABC's:
A = All of your body is controlled by your nervous system.
B = Bad things happen when nerve flow is obstructed.
C = Chiropractic restores nerve flow, improving performance and quality of life.
HOW DO WE PROVIDE THESE SERVICES:
We use a variety of adjusting techniques and methods to tailor the treatment to what works
best for each individual person.
We are dependent on donations from businesses and individuals to cover the travel, lodging
and operating expenses associated with the events.
We do not accept payment for our services, but welcome donations or assistance with travel
and lodging expenses when possible.
